MedVance Calcium Alginate Dressing

MedVance Calcium Alginate Dressing is made of calcium salt of alginic acid rich in mannuronic acid. The non-woven flat pad is for exuding wounds and the rope is for packing the cavities. When in contact with wound exudate, a soft, hydrophilic gel is rapidly produced, which conforms to the contours of the wound and provides a moist wound healing environment. The mechanical non-woven technology products enhanced wet and dry strength, which facilitates easy application and removal and minimizes the likelihood of leaving residue behind.
