Ram Scientific Safe-T-Fill Capillary Blood Collection Tube

Ram Scientific Safe-T-Fill Capillary Blood Collection Tube is pre-assembled with a capillary straw, pierceable cap, and a microtube. Microliter volume capillary blood samples are collected from finger and heel sticks using 100% plastic tubes. Capillary action draws blood samples into the microtube, reducing hemolysis, tissue contamination, and re-draws; no "scooping" or "milking" is required. To prevent clotting, the capillary straw and microtube are coated with the anticoagulant Dipotassium (K2) EDTA (Purple cap). The attached cap is color-coded to indicate the type of additive in the capillary tube and microtube.
